TE Polamco Circular Non-Screened Backshells
TE’s circular backshells meet the toughest requirements for environmental protection, strain relief, shock and vibration. They are available in most plating finishes, including RoHS compliant zinc nickel and electroless nickel, as well as a variety of materials, angles of cable entry and shell size. They are compatible with all major military specifications and are the ideal solution for cable termination across a wide spectrum of demanding and harsh environments.
96 series – strain relief adaptor:
- Saddle bar design for optimum strain relief
- Direct alternatives to M85049 types
- Straight, 90˚ and 45˚ options
77 series – strain relief adaptor:
- Saddle bar design as per series 96, but with extended body for increased protection at rear of connector
- Cable entry sizes to match cable bundle diameter
97 series - heatshrink boot adaptor:
- Spin coupling adaptor for heatshrink boot
- Direct alternative to M85049 types
- Straight, 90˚ and 45˚ options
76 series - heatshrink boot adaptor:
- Lower profile design
- Weight and space savings over standard boot adaptors
PG series – thread adaptor:
- Allows conversion from standard military treads to PG threads
- Permits the use of PG glands
DC series – backshell extender :
- Gives greater conductor termination area
- Provides space for the use of additional components, eg fuses or service loops
