Now available through Aerco, these interposers leverage Smiths’ industry-leading spring probe technology to provide compact, durable, and highly compliant solutions ideal for aerospace, defence, and test and measurement sectors.

Designed with an exceptional compliance-to-length ratio, spring probe interposers accommodate X, Y, Z, angular, and rotational misalignments while maintaining consistent electrical contact. This flexibility allows for blind-mating capabilities, making them especially suitable for modular systems and quick-disconnect applications. Smiths Interconnect interposers are offered with either soldered or compression-mount options, reducing assembly complexity and allowing for easy maintenance.

These interposers offer a high current capacity, up to 30 Amps per contact and exceptional RF performance, with signal integrity maintained beyond 40 GHz. Their rugged design withstands exposure to shock, vibration, extreme temperatures, and environmental contaminants such as dust and moisture, ensuring uninterrupted performance in mission-critical systems.
