CGE VG96929 from ITT Cannon

When reliability matters in harsh environments, ITT Cannon’s CGE VG96929 high-power connectors deliver a proven solution for defence, military ground vehicle, marine and heavy industrial applications. Part of the CA Bayonet Series, these circular single-pole connectors are engineered for high-power, low-voltage performance with current capability up to 900A.

CGE connectors feature two PTFE insulators, a spring retention system and sealing rings that provide water-tight performance to 1 bar, while the ruggedised aluminium shell supports demanding operating conditions from -55°C to 150°C. Suitable for cables from 25mm² to 240mm² and rated for up to 500 mating cycles, the design combines fast bayonet coupling with excellent vibration resistance. Positive mating is confirmed through visual, audible and tactile locking indicators. Multiple plating options are available, including TinZinc “J” plating, the 1:1 cadmium replacement defined in VG96929, and Blue Generation high-performance industrial plating.
