
Job Title: Business Development Manager
Location: Horsham, West Sussex
Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Aerco is a stockist distributor of electrical and electronic components serving high-reliability manufacturing companies across the UK. The business is growing and we now have a vacancy for a Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our team.
Our BDMs drive our sales activities by creating great relationships with our customers, being aware of their needs and the products Aerco supplies. They take the lead in negotiating with customers to win profitable orders.
You Will
- Respond to customer requests for quotation, evaluate the options and issue quotes.
- Track open quotations and negotiate to win profitable sales.
- Learn the needs and wants of key customers and position Aerco to be their preferred supplier.
- Continuously learn about Aerco’s supported franchises and products.
- Provide post-sales support to your customers to maximise repeat business.
About You
- Can communicate effectively in writing, verbally and through electronic media.
- Have a strong desire to succeed in satisfying customer needs and closing new business.
- Have great interpersonal skills and can build winning business relationships.
- Have an enquiring mind and seek to understand the functions and features of the components we deal with.
- Are confident to travel to visit customers for business meetings in a face-to-face setting.
