Amokabel NXT DEFENCE

The NXT99 series from Amokabel Brand-Rex, is a range of DEF-STAN 61-12 Part 18 compliant cables engineered for mission-critical environments in defence, aerospace, marine, and industrial sectors. Combining low smoke and toxicity with outstanding durability, the NXT99 family is designed to meet the most demanding performance and safety standards.

The NXT99 single core unscreened cable offers a lightweight, flexible solution with stranded tinned copper conductors and dual-layer, electron beam crosslinked polymer insulation. This construction delivers excellent chemical, fuel, and arc-tracking resistance, while maintaining minimal diameter and weight. Rated to 600 V RMS / 800 V DC and capable of operating between -50 °C and +120 °C, it provides reliability in harsh and confined environments.

For applications requiring additional protection, the NXT99 multicore screened and sheathed cable extends the same performance benefits while incorporating a tinned copper braid screen (≥80% optical coverage) for EMC protection and an IRXL-LSZH crosslinked sheath for enhanced resistance and safety. Built generally in accordance with DEF-STAN 61-12 Part 25 and Part 31, this design offers exceptional service life, with over 40,000 hours continuous operation at +85 °C.  Available in configurations from 2-4 cores across a wide range of conductor sizes, it ensures robust, interference-protected performance.
