Aerco Can Assemble TT Electronics AB05 Series in 48 Hours with No MOQ's

AB05 is manufactured by TT Electronics and is based on the military specification Mil-C-26482 series 1. This is a high performance connector, with secure and quick bayonet locking, excellent environmental sealing and shock and vibration performance. In addition, as AB05 conforms to BS9522 F0017 it also includes a numbers of design improvements over and above the mil-spec. These are notably a grounding spring on the free plug, ensuring excellent EMI/RFI performance, and a coarse ribbed coupling nut for ease of handling. It also employs shell polarisation in addition to insert orientation for increased application flexibility. Existing users of Mil-spec parts can have complete security in the knowledge that AB05 connectors are 100% intermateable and interchangeable with their Mil-Spec counterparts.

Aerco’s AB05 assembly is supported with a full range of accessories, including cable clamps, grommet nuts, sealing glands and screening backshells, along with panel seal gaskets and protective caps. Both the Mil-spec and AB05 have solder contacts as standard, but Aerco also assembles options with crimp contacts and PCB versions, giving designers and engineers even greater design opportunities.

Connectors are available in cadmium and RoHS compliant zinc cobalt plating.
