About us

With over 70 years of heritage, Aerco is a long established and trusted stockist and distributor of high quality electrical components. Since 1956, we have supplied specialised products to manufacturers across the aerospace, defence, medical, industrial, rail, and transportation sectors worldwide.

Founded by RAF Engineer Bill Laughton as the Aviaton Electrical and Radio Co Ltd, following his service during the Second World War at the local Gatwick Airstrip, Aerco remains a privately owned company committed to engineering excellence and customer service. Today, we operate from our headquarters in Horsham, West Sussex, supported by more than 10,000 sq ft of warehousing and storage facilities.

Our product portfolio continues to expand and includes backshells, cable and wiring accessories, circuit breakers, coaxial products, connectors, fans, optoelectronics and indicators, PCB accessories, sensors, switches, industrial IoT and computing and most recently, aerospace fasteners and hardware.

We maintain franchised partnerships with world-class manufacturers including Amphenol, Belden, Smiths Interconnect and Honeywell, making Aerco an ideal partner for Supplier Reduction Programmes.
