TT AB05 Connectors
The AB05 range of circular connectors is manufactured by TT Electronics and is based on the military specification Mil-C-26482 series 1.
This is a high performance connector, with secure and quick bayonet locking, excellent environmental sealing and shock and vibration performance.
In addition, as AB05 conforms to BS9522 F0017 it also includes a numbers of design improvements over and above the mil-spec including
- A grounding spring on the free plug, ensuring excellent EMI/RFI performance
- A coarse ribbed coupling nut for ease of handling
- Shell polarisation in addition to insert orientation for increased application flexibility.
Existing users of Mil-spec parts can have complete security in the knowledge that AB05 connectors are 100% inter-mateable and interchangeable with their Mil-Spec counterparts.

- cable clamps,
- grommet nuts,
- sealing glands,
- screening backshells,
- panel seal gaskets,
- protective caps.
Connectors are available in cadmium and RoHS compliant zinc cobalt plating. Both the Mil-spec and AB05 have solder contacts as standard, but Aerco also assembles options with crimp contacts and PCB versions, giving designers and engineers even greater design opportunities.
