
Magnetic Proximity Sensors
Either solid state or reed based, the Cherry range of magnetic proximity sensors are designed to sense the presence of a magnetic target. They are available in a wide variety of housings to suit different applications.
The range includes threaded, flange and snap fit housings. There are ruggedised versions suitable for harsh environments with extremes of temperature, humidity, thermal shock and vibration.
Applications in door positioning, flow sensing, limit switches and speed sensing.

MP2017 series – Reed-based magnetic sensor encapsulated in smooth plastic barrel
MP2018 series – Reed-based magnetic proximity sensor in plastic flange-mount package
MP2019 series – Reed-based magnetic proximity sensor in plastic flange-mount package
VN1015 series – Magnetically activated digital vane sensor in a rugged, overmoulded plastic housing with three pins or 3-wire flying leads
