A series of gaskets or strip forms in silicone rubber, sponge silicone or fluro silicone which contain vertically orientated wires bonded in to provide a high concentration of contact points per square centimetre. This gives excellent RF attenuation and environmental sealing and, depending on the material variant used is flame retardant or hydrocarbon resistant.
