Circuit board “cans” are available in a vast range of sizes and heights and provide high levels of EMI protection whilst allowing ventilation, cable entry and easy access to components. Contact fingers are particularly suitable where regular access to equipment is required as they do not suffer from the degradation through compression setting that mesh or elastomer products are prone to. They are available in Beryllium Copper, Phosphor Bronze and Stainless Steel and a variety of plating finishes.
