Roxburgh EMC

Roxburgh EMC offer an extensive range of surge protection solutions for signal line protection, DC power supply and low voltage power distribution systems. This range of SPD reduce the transient overvoltages inside a facility or equipment, protecting against the indirect effects of lightning, and transients which originated within the facility.

All cables leaving a building can also provide a route back into the building, therefore, protection must be installed on: Mains Power Supplies (including UPS); Data Communications and Local Area Network Cables; Signal, Control, Instrumentation and Alarm Lines; Telephone and Telemetry Lines.

Class C - Low Voltage Power Supply Protection

The Class C series of over-voltage surge protective devices has been developed to protect against the effects of indirect lightning discharges and induced voltages and is intended to provide protection in zones 1 — 2 per IEC 62305.

Category IEC / EN / VDE: Class II / Type 2 / C. Available with and without remote signalling contacts.

DVSC27545 consists of a high performance varistor block with thermal disconnection device. The plug-in module/base design facilitates replacement of a failed module in situ without the need to remove system wiring. 

DVSC275452TNS series combines two 45kA varistor modules to provide protection for single phase TNS networks. 

DVSC275452TT series combines a 45kA varistor and gas discharge tube to provide protection for TT single phase networks, where N to PE galvanic isolation is required. 

DVSC400453TNC series combines three 45kA varistor modules, to provide protection for TNC three phase networks with a combined PEN conductor. 

DVSC400454TNS series combines four 45kA varistor modules, to provide protection for TNS three phase networks with separate PE and N conductors. 

DVSC400454TT series combines three 45kA varistor modules and a gas discharge tube, to provide protection for TT three phase networks, where N to PE galvanic isolation is required. 

Class C - DC Power Protection

The Class C - DC power series - has been designed to meet the unique requirements of protection of DC power systems found in telepower and railway applications.  

Category IEC / EN / VDE: Class II / Type 2 / C. Available with and without remote signalling contacts. 

DVSC 24/48 provides both common and differential mode protection using high nominal discharge rating for extended operating life under DC conditions. 

DVS - A range of DIN rail mounted voltage suppressors with 24V, 48V, 110V and 240V nominal operating voltages. 

Class B - Low Voltage Power System Protection

 The Class B series of over-voltage surge protective devices has been developed to protect against partial direct and indirect lightning discharges and is intended to provide protection in zones 0A - 1, per IEC 62305.  

Category IEC / EN / VDE: Class I, II / Type 1, 2 / B + C. This range incorporates remote signalling contacts for central monitoring of SPD health. 

DVSB275652TNS for TNS single phase networks with separate N and PE conductors. 

DVSB400654TNS (65kA) for TNS three phase networks with separate N and PE conductors. 

DVSB4001004TNS (100kA) for TNS three phase networks with separate N and PE conductors.

DVSB4001004TT for TT three phase networks, where N to PE galvanic isolation is required.
