New solenoids from Aerco the key to small locking applications |

Aerco is now holding stocks of two new, miniature, open framed push or pull solenoids from Dialight BLP that are ideal for applications where high force is not required but compactness is essential. The overall frame size of the Series 133 and Series 134 allows them to be easily concealed in locking mechanisms where discretion is the keyword.
The S133 weighs 18g, has a rectangular face measuring 16mm x 13mm, a body length of 20mm and has a continuous closed power rating of 1.6W while the S134 has the same body length but a narrower profile of 12.45mm x 10.7mm. Weighing only 10g and with a continuous closed power rating of 1.2W the low profile of the S134 means that it can be concealed in substrates as thin as some standard wood panels.
The coil configuration of both units operates at 6 or 12 VDC continuous, but can be over-powered to achieve additional force with a lower duty cycle.
