Now available from Aerco are new AC laminated solenoids from Mechetronics that are extremely rugged and provide a high actuation force for unit size.
Ten models are supplied with a range of strokes up to 32mm, and actuation forces up to 65N at 8mm. These new solenoids have operating voltages of 24, 110 and 240VAC 50Hz with 60Hz versions available as an option.
These laminated solenoids have a fast response time and the operating noise level is reduced because of the use of copper shading rings. Brass guides provide smooth, low friction operation and life expectancy is 100,000 operations.
Connections can be customised with flying leads or tags. These RoHS compliant solenoids are of a pull-type construction and can be specified to meet a wide range of applications including: door and gate latches, industrial machinery, vending machines, coin operated gaming machines, domestic appliances and business machines.
