Now available in the UK from Aerco is the ProVision Endoscope PV2, a highly affordable inspection scope from CML that allows users to see into inaccessible places. ProVison is ideal for applications as diverse as peering between car door panels and cavity walls, searching under floorboards and around corners and inspecting deep inside engines and fuel tanks. ProVision is also used increasingly in law enforcement applications for searching for drugs and other forms of contraband and on covert military operations.
Based on innovative new fibre optic technology, the flexible ‘non-obedient’ cable fits easily into 6mm diameter holes while the additional ‘obedient’ sleeve, which fits into 12mm diameter holes, ensures that the shaft stays in a set position. Optional magnets and mirrors are available to aid investigation and retrieval and both cables and the sealed lens are water resistant for underwater operation.
Designed for focusing in areas that cannot be seen by the naked eye, the high-resolution lens provides a clear image of objects as close as 6mm away while providing a wide 40º field of view. A powerful lamp that illuminates dark crevices is operated by a push-button fitted to the ergonomically designed handle that is comfortable to hold and allows complete one-handed operation. A durable carrying case is included
