Aerco now offers a comprehensive selection of connector backshells to fit the full range of marine bronze D38999 type connectors providing engineers, designers and buyers the option of a complete interconnect solution from a single source with parts available either from stock or on short lead time.
The D38999 connectors, which are qualified to CECC75201-002, are ideal for use in demanding environments and are particularly suited to areas prone to the corrosive effects of salt spray. The nature of their use normally dictates the need for a high performance backshell to maintain the integrity of the electrical connection.
Aerco backshells range from standard strain relief clamps offering cable support, through to heatshrink adaptors, angled adaptors and high performance EMI/RFI shielded adaptors. The latter includes the popular TAK heatshrink kit that allows single-piece installation of a shielded adaptor and integral heatshrink boot.
