Aerco supplies the Binder 440 series of miniature, plastic, circular connectors introduced to meet the growing demand for a low cost push-pull circular connector with IP 67 protection.

A patented design makes the 440 connector easy to assemble, as the cable connector comprises a maximum of only five components. The simple but highly effective push-pull locking mechanism and uncomplicated design offers considerable cost benefits when compared to traditional metal, push-pull connectors and the Binder 440 series is available on much shorter lead times than its more expensive rivals.

Cable connectors are manufactured from tough, black polyamide with a nickel-plated sleeve and a PBT insert. All plastic components meet UL 94 V-0. The flange depth of only 2mm allows for virtually flush mounting of chassis connectors offering significant, and often important, space savings.

Excellent EMC protection is provided in both cable and chassis connectors and unshielded versions to IP 67 and IP 40 are also available. Gold plated solder contacts allow for more than 1000 mating cycles.

The 440 Series accommodates cables up to 8mm diameter and is supplied in 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8,12 and 19 pin configurations in standard format and 3, 6 and 8 in DIN format. They are ideal for applications such as test equipment, instrumentation and medical equipment.
