Aerco sees the light with Marl International appointment |

Aerco has been appointed as a distributor by Marl International, the LED specialist based in Ulverston in Cumbria. Using the very latest technology, Marl manufactures a wide range of LED products that include filament bulb replacements, light towers for conveyors and other industrial applications, IP67 panel indicators and hazard warning indicators.
LEDs offer numerous advantages compared with filament bulbs. Operating life and reliability are much higher with LEDs having a life expectancy of up to ten years of continuous use. In addition, heat generation and power consumption are both drastically reduced. The result is a significant lowering of the overall cost of ownership of LEDs compared with filament bulbs.
Rob Laughton, managing director of Aerco, sees this as a significant appointment for the company saying: "The LED market has enormous potential. Everybody who now uses a filament lamp is a potential customer and could switch to LEDs, it is simply a question of price. With the cost of ownership of LEDs becoming more competitive all the time this is a growth area of great potential".
Marl supplies LEDs in all the popular lamp base styles and the main signal and status defined colours of red, orange, yellow, green, blue and white with intensity matching to enhance panel uniformity and colour consistency. |
