Aerco now offers UK’s widest range of solenoids |

After a six-month trial period that has proved to be a remarkable success, Aerco has been appointed as the official UK stocking distributor for Mechetronics, the UK’s leading solenoid manufacturer.
This addition to the Aerco solenoid portfolio means that Aerco now provides the widest range of solenoids from a single UK source including tubular, open frame, latching, rotary and TT Series solenoids.
Although the company was formed in 1918 and now produces over 1.5 million solenoids a year, Mechetronics has never appointed a stocking distributor before. But, after Aerco achieved sales in excess of £200,000, doubling the target, the decision to formalise the agreement was simple.
Mechetronics’ managing director Mitchell Wolfe said: "We chose Aerco because of the high levels of support provided, especially the design-in capability of the Aerco DESIGNSUPPORT team that has already put us into new projects."
Rob Laughton, managing director of Aerco said: "This was an ideal partnership and we were always confident we could do well for Mechetronics. The comprehensive product range allied to our proven stock and inventory management service means that customers can be provided with call-off orders in any quantity."
Based in Bishop Auckland, County Durham, Mechetronics has, in addition to the UK factory, strong manufacturing partnerships in Europe and the Far East. |
