Aerco extends EMC capability |

Aerco has expanded its EMC capability with the addition of a range of EMI/RFI protection products from the British company PPT that complements the range of protected connectors, filters, back shells, gaskets and seals already available from the Horsham based distributor.
The PPT range includes knitted wire meshes in Monel, aluminium, stainless steel, brass and tinned copper-clad steel that are available in various sizes and configurations including knitted mesh tapes and bandages for wrapping cable assemblies.
Other products include vertically oriented wires bonded into silicon rubber providing around 100 contact points per square centimetre that provide excellent RF attenuation and environmental sealing, plus lightweight aluminium honeycomb ventilation media and shielded windows made from fully laminated glass or plastic.
Also available are various sheet and gasket materials and circuit board shields for cans with demountable covers providing localised high performance shielding at board level.
