Aerco managing director, Rob Laughton, explains why the company is adding wire and cable products to its portfolio
“In today’s highly competitive markets many businesses are seeking to reduce their vendor base. One of the advantages derived means that these businesses expect to see heightened levels of service and commitment from its suppliers as they concentrate more orders through their reduced population of suppliers.
This vendor reduction process would be helped enormously if it were possible to buy all components relating to interconnection from one supplier. It is for that reason we are now offering our customers a comprehensive range of wire and cable products in addition to our more traditional products of connectors, back-shells and accessories. With most of our customers already buying and using wire and cable, we are convinced that the ability to offer a total product package will be a highly valued service”.
