Now available from Aerco is a range of fibre optic connectors from Honeywell that are available as two complementary products, the HFE4 (Honeywell Fibre Optic Emitter) LEDs and the HFD3 (Honeywell Fibre Optic Detector) receivers.
The LED converts electrical signals into optical power that can be used in fibre optic communications and is impervious to thunderstorms and high voltages. The receiver detects the optical signal to provide a linear or switched output, depending on component selection that is similarly robust. This makes them ideal for applications such as data communications, CCTV systems, machine tools, controls and drives, packaging, converting and food processing machines, assembly handling equipment, robots, simulators and test equipment.
Ready to use and with a wide power range and built in a rugged metal housing, these fibre optic connectors are highly robust and withstand typical operating temperatures from -40° C up to 100° C. Data rates can vary from DC to above 85MHz depending upon component application. |
