Cambion offer a series of vertical PCB mounting coil forms that are supplied in kit form which consists of a coil form with a powdered iron cup core and a tinned copper housing.The cup core and housing act as a shield against electro-static and electro-magnetic interference, prevent feedback which would cause oscillation and confines the magnetic and electrostatic fields generated by the coil itself to a small area, preventing coupling with coils in other parts of the equipment.
