Cambion moulded chokes are wound on phenolic, ferrite or powdered iron cores, all of which have tinned copper leads. Coils are wound from polyurethane insulated copper wire. The coils are protected by a moulded epoxy insulator. Finally the part is colour coded to indicate the inductance value and inductance tolerance.
