Aerco (Lighting)

The individual instrument lighting system has been developed for applications where it may not be practical to fit an integrally lit panel. Used for standby lighting in helicopters and light aircraft design, an individual pillar lamp holder can also be used to form one of mounting posts of an instrument to be illuminated. To produce a sharply defined illuminated segment, the light will be projected downwards and through 90o arc.

 

Indicator lights and accessories in T1 and T1 ¾ have bodies that feature threaded attachments for assembly with lamp holder bases and are available in dimming cap and sealed versions.

 

These compact, robust and durable components are used in avionic, telecommunications, process control industries, computers, signalling equipment and hostile environments.

 

NVG Compatible Pillar/ Post lights & bridges.

 

A vast range of NVG compatible lighting devices has been developed for the diverse requirements associated with cockpit conversions and new installations. These include Pillar/ Post lights and lighting bridge assemblies. The NVG compatible lighting sources designed into these components are compliant with the relevant requirements of MIL-STD-3009.
