The LED based Dual red/white medium intensity beacon from Dialight utilises state of the art optics. The dual beacon provides over 20 000 cd white for daytime use and has the following three night modes: 2000 cd white, 2000 cd red or 170 cd red all with the use of a simple controller. Due to the dual beacons  advanced passive temperature management system, the LEDs are well maintained within their temperature tolerance in all operating conditions. In the event that there is loss of communication with the controller, the beacon has a microprocessor controlled driver and a default flash mode.
