Designed to control the level of illumination in aircraft instrument panels and similar applications where low voltage incandescent lamps are used in multi-lamp and multi-circuit configurations

Typically up to 50 midget panel lamps can be controlled from "off" to maximum light output by one composite unit

Units are assembled from a range of modular high dissipation variable resistance elements mounted on a common shaft which has a rotation range of about 100°. Separate switch modules can also be incorporated into the assembly

By the choice of appropriate resistor values and the use of inter-module linking, assemblies can easily be configured to meet most circuit requirements from a range of standard components

Assemblies are designed for panel mounting and a range of suitable control knobs are stocked for aircraft or other use
