Now available in the UK from Aerco is a new model in the range of two-axis, non-contacting mini displacement joysticks from Ultra Electronics MSI. The model 5000C, the world’s first joystick of this type, was launched in 2007 and the new 500C is introduced to extend the application range. It is of a more traditional design and is intended for use with finger and thumb as opposed to the 5000C that was for use with finger or thumb. In addition, the 500C is mounted and sealed from below the panel whereas the 5000C is designed for mounting from above....
