The Datamate L-Tek connector is a 2mm pitch cable to cable, cable to board and board to board connector that is used in harsh operating conditions. The Datamate range of L-Tek connectors is approved to British Standard 9525-F0033 (CECC 75101-008).  The contact design features a stamped, four-fingered, gold-plated beryllium copper clip with highly stressed contact beams. The clips reside in the female half of the connector, clasping the round pin tightly, ensuring the integrity of the electrical connection even under severe conditions.

Datamate L-Tek offers 3 flexible mating options: Friction latch, locking latch and no latch mating options.

Range of the Datamate L-Tek:

• Female vertical PC tail – polarised mouldings. Single in line or dual in line PCB connectors
• Female vertical surface mount – gull wing SMT tails simplify inspection process. Dual in line connectors.
• Female crimp – contacts are rear insertable. Spare contacts are available.
• Male vertical PC tail – polarised mouldings. Fully shrouded contacts. Can be used with strain relief straps.
• Male horizontal PC tail – supplied with strain relief straps. Single in line and dual in line.
• Male vertical surface mount – optional pick and place cap. Tape and reel options available. Gull wing SMT tails simplify inspection process. Latched, unlatched, with friction lock.
• Male horizontal surface mount – strain relief straps M80-0030006 supplied with these connectors. Stamped contact ensures co-planarity.
• Male crimp – contacts are rear insertable. Back potting & cable assembly service is available. Spare contacts available.
