Approved to BS9522 F0012 and PAN6433-2.  The range also conforms to VG96912 series 1.  It is also unofficially referred to as MIL-C-38999 series 1.5.  It was designed as a lightweight derivative of the D38999 series and retains features such as 100% scoop proof and bayonet locking.
