The HDJ Series is a range of high density bayonet coupling connectors specifically designed to conform to new European Standards for circular connectors for airframe use in particular the Eurofighter Typhoon. The range comprises plugs, receptacles, and cable accessories.

The series is intermateable and intermountable with connectors conforming to LN29729, EN 3372, J 62.017, VG 96912 and the Deutsch AS Range.

The original DIN specification for ‘Series 11/2’ circular connectors. This is based on MIL-C-38999 Series 1 coupling interface lengths and Series 2 diameters. Eurofighter STD J62.017 is derived from this specification.
