This special range of connectors covering free cable plugs for the common standard coaxial connector ranges is a flexible and cost effective way of holding stock of cable mounting items in servicing and maintenance areas and in R & D and test area applications. The connector body is designed with a square section back end with a common sized threaded hole in one side of the square and in the rear face. A range of cable clamps with threaded ends that screw into either of these holes is available, enabling the connector to be assembled either as a straight or angle cable entry version. The cable clamp is assembled onto the cable then screwed into the body as required and the centre conductor soldered to the contact through the other hole. This hole is then closed and sealed with a screw-in cap. Cable clamps are available in MIL-clamp, pressure sleeve, solder and crimp termination versions covering a range of the most commonly used cable types. The connector bodies all have the standard plating finish appropriate to the range and the cable clamps will be compatible. The completed assemblies will conform to the specification for that series. Connector bodies are available covering · Plugs for BNC, TNC, N, UHF, 4.1/9.5, & 7/16 series · Jacks for N & 7/16 series · Panel jacks for N & 7/16 series · Bulkhead jack for 4.1/9.5series |
