The MCX series is a subminiature coaxial connector range, similar in size to the SMB series.  It uses a snap-in coupling method and is suitable for use up to 6 GHz.  Diameter in the coupling mating area is approximately 3.4mm.  They are used in many applications in small electrical and electronic instruments, telecommunications equipment, GPS equipments, etc.

The contact arrangement is the standard convention of male contact in the cable plugs and female contact in jacks and receptacles.

It is used with the small diameter cables in the range of 1.8 to 2.8mm.  Semi rigid, conformable, & flexible.
